Allow me my 0.913cent worth of comments.
I believe that, based on 40plus years of solid track record, if opposition do not gets a COMPLETE, ABSOLUTE OVERHAUL, the status will remain as the quo.
no one can argue with 40 plus years of continuous track record.
lets not fool ourselves.
Their only chance is a COMPLETE OVERHAUL with leadership renewal.
but would their existing leaders give up the power?
We have seen what power can do to a person.
If for so long, they cannot crack it, they must find someone to replace them. I do not think I am being illogical for suggesting that the opposition look for talent from overseas. Look at the pingpong gals who represent, not just the people but the whole nation. Why not for political parties to get really great political leaders from abroad and offer them citizenship ? how long should the people wait? another 30 years only more?
As the people is larger than any party, they need to be super selfless and let it go.
I hope they create posts of mentor to guide the new leaders who may have a better chance of winning.
