"bring delusions into politics is a no no"
I will remember that.
analogy ==> The cock think that if he don't kao bei kao bu in the morning, the sun won't rise. Actually, no cock also will happen.
Similarly, gov give progress package everytime they do something bad, or before general election. Thinking that Chee Soon Juan's protest caused it to happen this year is delusional.

exactly.... when garmen change something for "good" it's csj work.... but when garmen change something for the "bad" is it also csj's work?
seems Pok Kai has become the same delusional person as the religious people he is denouncing....
.... but can't blame him lah.... some philosopher had said that even an empty person need to worship something.

zzz.... the point of the analogy is to get a general gist, and should not be taken literally.... but if you think this is important, than i will just do this....
I hereby announced that I make a mistake, and will change the story of the cock .
the analogy should have been "The farmer thinks that if the cock don't kao bei kao bu in the morning, the sun won't rise. Actually, no cock also will happen."
sincerest apology to any person or organization who might be misleaded by this previous bad analogy.

so...
analogy ==> farmer feed cow grass than slaughter the cow for meat.
my guess of what you are saying is ...
gov help the people in order to squeeze money from them later.
i give the analogy a 2 out of 5. just doesn't seem that interesting to me.
also, your analogy have nothing to do with my mine. both analogy are independent of each other, can be correct at the same time. I therefore request that you correct your statement as it can potentially mislead others into thinking that my analogy is wrong.

the cow analogy is stupid because the cow died. if the analogy had been the cow got their milk squeezed, then maybe, just maybe it is better.

actually i think a better analogy is for a farmer to make his chickens lay more eggs than they can produce....
